my name is Gera Šandor and I live in Subotica on the north of Serbia. I have been affiliated with men's best friend for almost fifty years. More serious interest about dogs started in year 1981. and rottweilers in particular in 1987.

My first dog was a female KIRA VOM HAUS ROSSEMANN , a very large female with a steady character who was not afraid of shooting or the noise markers made. The successes in exhibitions started with her.

In year 1990. we registered a kennel named " AUS SCHIFF ", inspired by my personal vision of a rottweiler dog sitting in a boat with a game warden that is sailing through the swamp. Soon came the legend BAZI V. ZIMMERPLATZ , imported ADRK male who played the vital role in development of the race in former Yugoslavia and whose name can be found in genealogies of most beautiful dogs today. Beside him, we had the honor to have ODILL VON JUNIPERA in our kennel, a Yugoslav club winner in 1995. during the time of greatest euphoria about rottweiller dogs in out country and CONY V. HARTBURG etc. Due to sanctions to our country I was impelled to use the name "BLACK FELLOW" for the kennel, while the dogs were the same. Everything is already written and there is a huge compilation of professional literature about rottweillers, and it is our burden not to spoil the race, but to perfect it further. The way and seriousness about the breeding of the race in Germany should be an example for all. I am grateful to family FRANCIŠKOVIĆ for the help during the work and to all the breeder friends who became widely known across the world with their dogs.
